I have known Abe Gruenwald for about 10 years since my wife and I started looking for Long Term Care Insurance. A close friend of mine told me that Abe was the best person to speak to in order to learn about this product and get the best possible advice. One of the things that I learned from him was that a husband and wife can secure the most economical policy by buying coverage with the same company and taking advantage of the marital discounts offered. He informed me that being a type 1 diabetic, getting approved for LTC insurance could be challenging. Abe secured a great policy for my wife immediately but would not submit any applications for me until he was confident that the insurance carriers would consider my health history. He told me that once you are rejected for LTC insurance, it would be extremely difficult to get a policy, and therefore wanted to be reasonably certain that the insurance company would approve my application. Approximately a year later, he successfully obtained an excellent policy for me. We were so pleased with Abe’s knowledge and abilities that I asked him if he could obtain LTC insurance for my mother, who was in her early 80’s at the time. Naturally, he managed to do this with great skill and was able to obtain insurance for my sister as well. Abe has always been able to address all our concerns and questions throughout the years on any issue related to our needs. It has always given me great pleasure to be able to recommend Abe to our friends. Each time that I refer someone, I always receive a call or e-mail from him with a sincere “thank you”. Over the years, Abe has become more than our insurance agent – he has become a good friend!

Abe is a professional’s professional. I was introduced to him by a friend/financial advisor well over a decade ago and I would never work with anyone else in his field. He assisted me with my mother’s purchase of a long-term care policy and when the time came, recently, to make a claim, he assisted me with the process. He is an advisor who is accessible and a joy to work with. He not only helped me with getting the best policy and with the claim but in the process, I have gain a trusted friend and advisor. When it’s time to get my own policy, I will call Abe. I have referred friends, family and colleagues to him and will continue to do so.
