Abe Gruenwald, CLU, CLTC is President of 65 Plus, the Health Care Safety Net, a firm specializing in servicing the life, health and medical insurance needs of the baby-boomer and senior population. He concentrates in the Elder Care Market, works with attorneys, accountants, Financial Planners and other Insurance professionals in providing solutions to their clients’ various insurance needs.
Mr. Gruenwald has lectured on “Planning for Long Term Care” for the New Jersey Society of CPA’s, the New York Chapter of the American Society of CLU and ChFC, and at the New School in Manhattan. His articles have been published by the N.Y. State Bar Association’s General Practitioners Newsletter and Elder Law Attorney Journals, and by the New York City Life Underwriters Association.
He has also been a panelist for the New York State Bar Association’s continuing education program on the Basics of Elder Law Practice and has spoken before the New York Chapter of the International Association of Financial Planners. He was a featured speaker at the 2008 NYSBA Elder Law Summer Meeting.
He is a former President and Board Member of The Rockland County Estate planning Council, a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), a member of the Greater Hudson Valley FPA Chapter, a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and an Affiliate Member of the Westchester County Bar Association. In addition, he is a member of the National Long Term Care Network, the largest LTC insurance marketing firm in the country.
